I love performing. I may not be the best, or as entertaining as I want to be. But I love it. This stage makeup right here? Made my night. We had a blast… The crazy hours, frustrated group member… It was worth it. I’m blessed more that tomorrow will be the third day in a row we get to perform. God is too good to me.
Anyone else ever go through the times where you feel Satan is throwing new things at you to tear you down and discourage you daily?? Really? Me too. As much as I try to look ahead or not take things to heart, I always end up focusing too much on the negative that seems to be flying at me. (Hint: The title of this entry would be another negative I felt today.) I know to keep focusing on what good things the Lord continues to bless me with… Maybe it’s just easier said than done? Either way, I know the same God that brought me through many other things will bring me through many more.

Meesh. :)
My name is Madison and I am almost 17 years old. I feel like I am older because of the situations that I faced and are currently in the processing of overcoming. It started so simple for me because I went to church since I was little and I have always known the truth of God. I accepted God when I…
Absolutely beautiful. You’re beautiful and God is doing amazing things through your life.
I want so bad to convey to some people that there are people inside the body of Christ that are hurting and aching just like there are those outside of it. If you want to show the love of Christ to those who may feel lonely and left out, look to those around you.
So, Jenni wanted me to share this story… and… she is the one who took the picture. Thanks, Jenni.
Smile. A word we hear when we are about to take a picture or when being told to merely look happy. Growing up, My mom always told me to smile because it may be the only smile someone else sees today and that, since we don’t know what goes on behind a family’s closed doors, I should use my smile to share Christ’s light. This stuck to me. I’ve always loved to smile, and it’s something i do naturally. I can’t help it. There was a time, however, when I looked in the mirror, or in pictures, and hated my smile. I learned through seeing so many other’s smiles that the smile is more than merely teeth… it’s the light of one’s spirit and personality showing through, right? Well, I eventually got my smile “fixed” and sure, I love it now, but I still know that each smile has it’s story no matter the shape or size. Point of this story? Don’t just “grin and bear it” truly smile.
-Meesh. :)
